What is HubSpot?

HubSpot is an all-in-one platform for inbound marketing, sales, CRM and customer service that enables businesses to easily and effectively collaborate from marketing to sales to after-sales service to create an exceptional, data-driven and consistently positive customer experience.

HubSpot's platform consists of five software hubs: the Marketing Hub, the Sales Hub, the Service Hub, the CMS Solution and the Operations Hub. The hubs can be used individually or as a package for different requirements.

HubSpot Marketing

You don't want just any traffic on your website, you want the right traffic. You want visitors who are highly likely to become leads and ultimately satisfied customers.

The marketing software contains all the tools you need to develop and execute successful inbound marketing campaigns. This way, you can attract the attention of potential customers, win new customers and automatically provide them with suitable content.

Generate traffic on your website, for example, by writing helpful content and sharing it via your social networks. To download your content, visitors enter their data on landing pages in the contact form and thus become leads. The contact data is stored centrally in the CRM. With the help of predefined workflows, you provide the leads with further, personalised content via email. You use lead scoring to qualify the leads for your sales department.

  • Lead scoring, tracking and management
  • Creation of blog pages, landing pages and CTAs
  • Automated email marketing routes and workflows
  • SEO
  • Social media management
  • Ad creation, tracking and management
  • Live chat with bot
  • Account-based marketing
  • Marketing analytics

HubSpot Sales

Sales software enables your sales team to collaborate across departments by managing all customer data in one central location. HubSpot Sales helps your sales team close more deals, deepen relationships and manage their pipeline more effectively. Sales workflows are automated and reduce the administrative processes for your sales team.

Sequences are used to send a series of timed emails and follow-ups. Your sales force stays in constant contact with potential customers. With the personalised e-mail templates, they also save time. Tracking lets your sales team know immediately when an email has been opened.

Use workflows to automatically assign leads to sales reps, create new deals or automate tasks.

With HubSpot Sales Reports, you get accurate information about your pipeline and can create realistic forecasts for expected sales.

  • Personalised e-mail templates
  • E-mail tracking
  • Tracking and management of sales documents
  • Call tracking and logging
  • Contact management and maintenance
  • Booking of appointments and meetings
  • Live chat

HubSpot Service

Interests become leads and leads become customers. After the purchase, it's all about your customers being satisfied and thus becoming ambassadors for your company. But customers' requirements for good service have changed in recent years. Today, customers expect service around the clock and on different channels.

HubSpot's customer service software allows you to consolidate your customers' requests from various sources in one central location and process them in the shortest possible time. With ticket management, support requests can be easily tracked and prioritised according to urgency. Your service team is always informed about the status at a glance.

Create a comprehensive knowledge base with help articles, user manuals and frequently asked questions (FAQ) about your products. This way you help your customers to help themselves.

  • Helpdesk and ticket automation
  • Live chat
  • Knowledge base functions
  • Customer feedback surveys
  • Reports and dashboards

1. away from silo thinking

HubSpot is the complete solution for collaboration between marketing, sales and service. Customer data is managed centrally in one place (single source of truth). Different teams have access to all relevant information at this central point. This ensures transparent processes, unambiguous and high-quality data and creates synergies.

2. HubSpot is user-friendly

At first glance, HubSpot may seem overwhelming and complex with its extensive functions. But with a little practice, you'll quickly find your way around. And if you get stuck at any point, we or HubSpot Support are there to help you.

3. HubSpot moves with the times

HubSpot is very keen to optimise and develop its software and tools so that they are always up to date. In recent years, various additional tools and add-ons have been developed that now enable a high level of automation.

4. Free and fast support

Support is available in many languages by phone, chat or e-mail. As a rule, you will receive an answer within 24 hours.

5. academy with free online training

HubSpot offers many free online trainings on various topics in its Academy. For example, there are courses on the use of the individual HubSpot tools. But also topics around marketing, sales, service, website design, web development or data protection.

The basic assumption of HubSpot is that customers don't want to be bothered by marketers or salespeople. Rather, the focus is on providing them with relevant content along the customer journey. The inbound marketing method grew out of this idea.

In order to be able to successfully introduce and implement this method, HubSpot offers many helpful functions and tools. Here is a brief overview:

Social Media Management

With the social media tools in HubSpot, you can plan and publish posts, monitor mentions of specific terms and analyse performance. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter can be connected to HubSpot.

Landing Page Creation

You don't have to be a web designer to create landing pages with HubSpot. With the help of the landing page editor, the corresponding content, forms and layouts can be easily adapted via drag & drop. In addition, different variants can be tested against each other in A/B tests.

Forms, CTAs and Pop-ups for Lead Generation

With HubSpot, you can quickly create forms, call-to-actions (CTAs) or pop-up forms to collect new contacts. The forms can be embedded in websites or landing pages, but also work on stand alone pages or as pop-up or slide-in forms.

So-called progressive fields can be used to make forms smarter and more efficient. If the user filling out your form already has a value for a certain field, you can use progressive fields to determine that a different field is queried instead.

Lead Management with Marketing and Sales Automation

Marketing Automation offers you a wide range of possibilities: Use workflows to have email campaigns start automatically when contacts meet certain criteria, such as form submissions. New leads can be automatically routed to sales representatives. New deals and tasks are created automatically or you can be notified when selected events occur, e.g. when a certain lead score is reached.

Automated Lead Scoring for more Sales

Lead interactions can be tracked in HubSpot and assigned a score. If the lead triggers an interaction, e.g. by downloading a whitepaper, opening emails or visiting a landing page, predefined scores are automatically assigned that add up over time.

You define in advance at which lead score the contact is transferred to sales as a marketing-qualified lead.

Conversations and Live Chat

Conversations provides teams with a shared inbox to capture, manage and organise incoming messages from live chats, team emails and other channels.

With HubSpot's Live Chat, you can either communicate with website visitors in real time or use the built-in chatbot designer to create your own chatbots without programming knowledge.

Templates and Sequences for Sales and Support

In both Sales and Support, you have the option of creating personalised email templates for all phases of your sales process and for various support topics.

Based on these templates, you can use sequences to create a sequence of emails that are then sent automatically according to a predefined schedule.

Tracking for Sales Documents

Create a collection of sales documents for your team in Sales Hub. These documents can be sent directly from the email account to potential customers.

When a recipient clicks on a link in your email or opens the sent document, you receive an instant notification.

Analytics data helps you find out which sales documents support your sales process.

Meeting Tools

With the meeting tool, potential customers have the possibility to make appointments directly in your calendar. Booked meetings are synced with your calendar on Google or Office 365.

New records are automatically created in the HubSpot CRM for new leads who book a meeting.

Tickets for optimal Customer Support

In HubSpot Service's ticket system, you assign customer requests to employees. Customer concerns can be managed, prioritised and tracked in a centralised manner. You can see the status of individual tickets, which phase they are in or how long support teams needed to complete the processing.

Dashboards, Analytics and Campaign Reports

Custom reports can be exported on virtually any metric from Marketing Hub, any record from the HubSpot CRM, or data from any integrated application.

For performance measurement of individual campaigns, you can group content such as landing pages, emails, CTA buttons, blogposts into one campaign. At a glance, you can see the performance of individual content and the entire campaign and make optimisations.

HubSpot Integrations

  • WordPress, Typo3

  • Google Ads
  • Google Search Console
  • Slack
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Hotjar

You need a customised integration solution, e.g. for SAP C4C?

No problem. With the help of a connector, we set up the interface for bi-directional data transfer between HubSpot and SAP for you.

HubSpot offers a range of free tools as part of its CRM platform. These are quasi "light" versions of the paid tools, which are partially limited in their function and depending on the licence.

In general, the HubSpot tools, i.e. Marketing, Sales or Service, can be used individually or as a package.

Before you decide on a HubSpot tool, you should consider

  • Which functions you need
  • The number of contacts - to be managed in the system - that you anticipate
  • Whether you need just one tool or a combination of several tools

We will be happy to advise you on which package is right for you and find potential savings for you.
